Agenda for the Meeting – Spring Assembly Agenda 2018-04-21 Final

The Spring ASCE Region 1 Assembly Meeting will be held on Saturday April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd at the Sheraton Tarrytown in Westchester County, New York. The hotel is less than a ½ mile from the Tappan Zee – Mario Cuomo Bridge.

The purpose of this Meeting is to exchange ideas and to help to steer Region 1. It is an opportunity for each Section and Branch within Region 1 to interact and to help define our path over the next three years.

As the incoming Region 1 Director, I would like to share my vision and am interested in helping move your sections and branches forward. There are many changes to the Region 1 demographics with the addition of Canada to Region 1.

Region Meetings are an important part of the work that we do as a volunteer professional organization that serves more than 150,000 members. This Meeting will serve as a conduit to keep you informed and updated on ASCE activities, initiatives and will provide your Section or Branch a voice. The Region 1 leadership is here to relay any suggestions or concerns to ASCE National.

I am looking forward to meeting you in the Spring. I am truly excited about our Region and ASCE! This meeting will also include an opportunity for you to earn 2 PDH’s through a lecture and tour of the new Tappan Zee – Mario Cuomo Bridge.
