Each ASCE New York State Council Section shall have two designated section delegates who are authorized to represent and vote on behalf of their section at Council Meetings and Conference Calls. Current Delegates are as follows:

Council Committees
Legislative Committee
To identify and inform Council members of any proposed or pending New York Legislative actions related to Civil and or Engineering professional or business practices affecting the Civil Engineering Profession. To develop strategies and actions to support legislation favored by the Council.

Professional Registration Committee
To observe and inform Council members of any developments, legislation, policies, etc. which occurs related to professional registration and/or certification.

Awards Committee
To promote civil engineering and the benefits of the civil engineering profession through various awards made on behalf of the Sections located within New York State.

New York State Report Card Committee
Responsible for the generation of an independent review of the current state of infrastructure needs, capacity and funding in the State of New York.

To collaborate with the Region 1 Student Support Committee to provide support to civil engineering students at colleges and universities within New York State.
